Jiangxi University of Water Resources and Electric Power

Jiangxi University of Water Resources and Electric Power, founded in 1958, is a public university located in Nanchang, capital of Jiangxi Province in the east central of China. JXUWP covers a land area of 1.30 million square meters with a total building area of 659700 square meters and owns Yaohu Campus and Pengjiaqiao Campus. As the first provincial-level water scenic area created by a university in the country, JXUWP is renowned for its beautiful campus scenery, pleasant learning environment, and high-quality educational resources.

As a tertiary educational institution, JXUWP specialises in multidisciplinary education of engineering, management, science, agriculture, liberal arts, economics, fine arts etc., and has distinctive characteristics in the discipline of water resources and electric power. With 20494 full-time students,including 1293 postgraduate students and 14 international students, and more than 1600 staff members, JXUWP proudly offers 57 undergraduate programmes and 17 postgraduate programmes which are highly recognized by students. Also,18 provincial-level key laboratories or engineering research centers in JXUWP facilitate and support its high quality education.

JXUWP is proud to offer bachelor's courses on Sino-Dutch programme of Civil Engineering and Sino-Korean programme of Electrical Engineering and Automation. JXUWP has been recruiting international students since 2017. International students are from more than twenty countries along the Belt and Road, including Vietnam and Uzbekistan.
