School of Science
The School of Science undertakes scientific research and the teaching of public basic courses in the fields of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. There are 91 faculty members, among them 83 are full-time teachers, 6 are experimental teachers and a foreign “Yaohu Scholar”. There are also 5 post-doctorates and 43 PhD degree holders among the faculty members. There are 3 PhD candidates and 3 “Yaohu Distinguished Young Teachers”.

Applied Statistics
This programme is comprised of two orientations, which are Water statistics and water resources management, Financial statistics and risk management.
