Jiangxi Provincial Engineering Research Center of High Power Electronics and Grid Smart Metering
With the approval document number of Jiangxi Development and Reform High Technology [2020] No.1048. from the Jiangxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the center was established in December 2020, This center, under the guidance of Nanchang Engineering Institute, aims to solve common problems in the power grid of Jiangxi Province. It actively carries out technology research and development in collaboration with well-known universities and electric power enterprises, with the aim of promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the associated industry.
The center has four research directions: power electronics and power conversion technology, new measurement and intelligent sensing technology of power grid, new intelligent control and carbon sensing technology of power system, and energy conversion and storage technology in energy storage process. The center has 49 professional and technical personnel, 2 flexible introduction experts, 10 senior professional titles, 25 associate senior professional titles, 23 doctors, 1 candidate for the "Double Thousand Plan" in Jiangxi Province, and 1 young and middle-aged backbone teacher in colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province.
In the past three years, the center has successfully executed 16 vertical and 26 horizontal projects related to electrical research, investing a total of 11,127,650 yuan. Center members have achieved remarkable accomplishments, winning a national award and publishing 35 academic papers, including 29 high-level papers indexed by SCI and EI. Additionally, 42 patents have been authorized, including 2 international invention patents, 17 domestic invention patents, 23 utility model patents, and 1 appearance design patent.
The center's future focus is to establish itself as a leading research and development hub for high-power power electronic equipment and new power grid measurement and intelligent sensing technology. It aims to become a pioneering engineering research center, not only in the province but also on a national level.
